Anushka’s million dollar reaction as Virat scores record seventh IPL ton in match against GT | Watch
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli hit a second consecutive century to send Royal Challengers Bangalore to 197-5 against holders Gujarat Titans on Sunday and keep the team on track for the IPL play-offs. Sunday’s century was Virat Kohli’s seventh in the world’s most popular T20 tournament.
The former India captain hit an unbeaten 101 in the final group stage match, with Bangalore needing a win to secure their place in the last four.
“A lot of people think my T20 cricket is declining, I don’t feel like it at all. I think I’m playing my best T20 cricket again,” said Kohli after an innings with 13 fours and a six.
“I’m just having fun. This is how I play T20 cricket, I try to hit holes, hit a lot of boundaries and then the big ones towards the end if the situation allows.
“You have to read situations and act when the situation calls for it. I feel really good at the moment with my game and how I’m hitting.”
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma was in Bengaluru to cheer on hubby Virat Kohli as RCB and was seen kissing Virat Kohli after breaking the record of maximum centuries in IPL held by West Indies Chris Gayle.
Earlier, after Virat scored a century in the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL match, he took the phone and video of Anushka’s name from the field. Videos and photos of their interaction went all over social media, as fans cheered for their favorite couple.
Virat Kohli, who made a match-winning 100 in Bangalore’s previous match, moved to second in this season’s IPL batting chart with 639 runs behind his skipper Faf du Plessis, who made 28 in an opening stand of 67 runs with the superstar cricket player.
