Apple may introduce hearing-based health features on AirPods by 2025

Apple is reportedly planning to upgrade AirPods with health tracking features. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Cupertino-based company could “upgrade the AirPods to become a health aid in the next two years.” kind”.

Apple has reportedly been working on adding hearing-related functionality to AirPods. These may include live listening and call amplification features. While these features have yet to be approved by the FDA, Gurman adds. It was previously reported in a report that the AirPods may act as an alternative to hearing aids.

The company is reportedly planning to add features such as biometric sensors, motion detectors and temperature monitors to detect heart rate and perspiration to AirPods. Kevin Lynch – Vice President of Technology, has previously hinted that more health data is coming to the device.

According to reputed Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, Apple will not upgrade its AirPods lineup until next year. The next generation of Apple AirPods may ship in H2 2024 or H1 2025.

The smartphone has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display. The screen of the phone has a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels. The smartphone comes with ceramic shield protection and is resistant to spills and splashes. The device is powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chipset.
