Beyoncé and Jay-Z sure are staying away from any drama and making powerful moves. According to TMZ, Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, recently bought a new $200 million luxury home in California.

Although many people took to their social media accounts due to the influence couple’s moves, some netizens were clearly not happy with this purchase and expressed their disappointment online. Here is everything you should know about the same.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new mansion

According to TMZ, Beyoncé and Jay Z paid $200 million for their California home, making it the most expensive home ever sold in the state. Designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, ​​this is a 30,000 square foot Malibu property. Ando also designed Kanye West’s 50+ million mansion that he got during his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

According to TMZ, this 30,000-square-foot Malibu property was once owned by art collector William Bell and took about fifteen years to build. Beyoncé and Jay-Z seem to have gotten quite a bit out of this all-concrete home as it’s already been listed for $295 million.

Social media users had mixed reactions to the whooping $200 million purchase with Beyoncé and Jay-Z being described as “capitalists” for their excessive purchase. One user tweeted, “Who buys a house that costs so much that is useless, you can buy so much land to save the land but you’d rather spend it on a house of a king…” Another wrote, “No person in an ordinary state of society should own so much of wealth.”

Some fans were quick to defend Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s massive buy. One user commented, “Some of you guys are mad because they spend their money the way they want to???
