‘Big reveal at 12.30’ on alcohol scam from Delhi: Atishi


Delhi minister Atishi has communicated on Sunday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will make a “major reveal” on the pending excise case today, May 7 at 12:30 pm.

“Today at 12:30 am I will make a big reveal about drink scam,” Atishi tweeted in Hindi.

Sources informed the ANI news agency that Delhi ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar will hold a press conference on this at 12:30 PM on Sunday at 206 Rouse Avenue.

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is in jail for alleged irregularities in the excise case. He was arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) in the ongoing investigation into a case related to alleged irregularities in the preparation and implementation of excise policy in Delhi.

The CBI arrested Sisodia on February 26 this year. Later on March 9, the ED arrested him after hours of interrogation in Tihar Prison.

Later in April, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also summoned by ED for questioning in the case.

The ED and the CBI had alleged that irregularities had been committed in changing the excise policy, that undue favors were granted to license holders, that the license was waived or reduced, and that the L-1 license was extended without the approval of the competent authority. authority.

The beneficiaries funneled “illegal” profits to the accused officials and made false entries in their accounts to avoid detection, the investigative firms said.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a supplementary indictment form against former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Excise policy case on May 4.

The supplement has over 2100 pages. The operating section has 271 pages. The complaint was filed within the 60-day deadline.

The CBI has already filed charges in this case.
