In a recent conversation with Variety, Chris Evans recalled his first meeting with Scarlett Johansson, which set the stage for their decades-long friendship. According to Captain America’s rep, he was shocked to learn that Johansson was younger than him. It was definitely not because of the actress’ gorgeous looks but because of the way, she carried herself.

said Chris Evans, who recalled his first meeting with the Black Widow actress that happened on the sets of their movie The Perfect Score. She was only 17 years old at that time. The duo, who instantly became good friends, have stayed strong over the years. They have shared the screen in eight films, including six Marvel films that appeared as movies.

The old friends took a road trip to Los Angeles last month, to meet up with their best friend and Avengers star Jeremy Renner, who is recovering from an accident. Interestingly, the media had absolutely no evidence that Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson had visited Renner until the duo revealed the same in their recent conversation with Variety. According to the duo, their humble Avengers reunion was fun, full of life, and light.
