Director of Meta India and Head of Partnerships Manish Chopra announces his resignation
Meta Director and Head of Partnerships in India Manish Chopra announced his resignation from the company in a LinkedIn post. Chopra joined Meta in 2019 and has served as its Director and Head of Partnerships in India.
The director and head of partnerships posted his resignation letter on Tuesday. He also said he would help with the transition over the next few weeks.
Chopra posted on LinkedIn, “I am grateful for the company for trusting me to build on our efforts to drive growth and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. I am so proud of the work the team and I have done to become an ally to creators and businesses across the country. My heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you!”
Manish Chopra, Meta Director and Head of Partnerships, India, joined the company in January 2019.
He posted on the social media site, “It’s been an incredible 4.5 years of journey led by Meta Partnerships in India! I am stepping down from my role at Meta and will be helping transition over the next few weeks.”
Similar to the ongoing layoffs in the tech world and at the company itself, he said: “The last months have been tough times for everyone in many ways. I know this team showed a lot of care and helped each other selflessly. In many moments when one was doing one’s best I’ve seen people embody ‘What Would You Do, If You Weren’t Afraid’, and transcend our wildest dreams.”
About his new project, he said, “I’ll be sharing more in due course.”
