Lautner continued, “I’ve always been incredibly grateful and feel so blessed for what you’ve brought me, but maybe there was a little bit of resentment, like, deep down there, like ‘I wish I had experienced that part of normalcy.'” Now, I wouldn’t change him, but I think he needs to grow to get to this place. The Twilight films, which starred Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson opposite Lautner, have grossed over $3.4 billion worldwide.

Previously, on The Toast podcast, the 31-year-old actor revealed, “I was very young like 16 when Twilight came out, 17 for New Moon and Eclipse. I finished the franchise by the time I was 19. I was very young and yeah, I feel It was so weird, you know, traveling around the world and being in different cities and having like thousands of screaming fans either standing next to you or the other guy.” The movies are still a phenomenon and the characters played by the movie are still widely loved by fans all over the world.

Lautner also previously told People, “I started acting when I was a kid, and it was kind of nonstop until I was in my early 20s. I’m so grateful for what I experienced, but I missed out on a lot of the normal things in life, like going to college. I wanted to.” To kick back, enjoy life, and spend time with my family and friends.” During his appearance on the radio show, he was accompanied by his wife, Taylor Doom.

Dome has been open about being a huge Twilight fan, and a long running joke between them was how she used to crush Pattinson’s character Edward instead of Lautner’s Jacob at the time. When a host asked if she said, “That’s my guy” while watching Lautner in Twilight at the time, he quipped, “The problem when she was watching it was saying that about Edward.” Dom replied, “We all make mistakes, we learn from them.”
