Big-name movie stars compete to win this year’s Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series. Who should take home the prize?

Let’s start with the superheroes: Michael Keaton, aka the original Batman of the big screen, leads the pack with a nod for killing Dr. Samuel Finnix in Hulu’s opioid docudrama stunned — a role that earned him a Golden Globe in that category earlier this year. Hulu was also home to two other nominees: Marvel film veteran Sebastian Stan, for morphing into rocker Tommy Lee Pam & Tommyand The Incredible Spiderman Star Andrew Garfield for the role of detective Jeb Pyre in the Mormon crime drama Under the banner of heaven.

war of stars Alum Oscar Isaac also snagged a nomination for starring alongside Jessica Chastain as one half of an unhappy couple on HBO Scenes from a Marriageand Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth is also in on it to play murder suspect Michael Peterson in HBO Max’s screenplay adaptation of The stairs. Rounding out the field is Himesh Patel, who wowed viewers as survivor Jeevan in HBO Max’s dystopian sci-fi series station eleven. (And hey, he was there principle and Don’t look upso he’s not a chump either.)
