Fantasy Island Director Jeff Wadlow Sets Shark Thriller ‘Devil’s Mouth’ With eOne, Thunder Road (Exclusive) – The Hollywood Reporter

Jeff Wadlow – Horror Director behind Blumhouse Hits the truth And Fantasy Island – new movie mode, Devil’s mouth With Entertainment One and Thunder Road Productions.

This fictional project, from writers Aja Gable and Myung Joh Wisner, follows a group of young and beautiful friends whose idyllic vacation off the coast of Mexico becomes a life-or-death quest.

The synopsis reads: “Despite a recent series of storms that have engulfed the area, Sarah, the partisan planner, is adamant that they continue their exploration of La Boca Del Diablo (The Devil’s Mouth) – an eerily complex labyrinth of deep underwater caverns. But as they cross Stunning flooded caverns and tunnels, Looming in the depths below is a silent, swift and bloodthirsty intruder – a true predator.The group’s only hope for survival is to put aside their petty differences and work together to find their way out.But until then, do they have a chance ?

Basil Iwanik and Erica Lee will co-produce the Thunder Road sign, which recently released its fourth installment John Wick franchise, currently at $419 million at the global box office.

Sierra/Affinity is handling worldwide sales of the film, making it available to first-time buyers at the 2023 Cannes Film Market.
