First Reactions at SXSW Premiere – The Hollywood Reporter

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves It premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, with positive first reactions to the upcoming fantasy action adventure from both avid gamers and non-gamers alike.

Chris Pine, Reggae Jean Page, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis star in Paramount and eOne, as a band of adventurers seeking to recover a powerful relic, a journey that runs into trouble after coming across some nefarious characters. Hugh Grant plays the main foil to the ensemble and the comic relief of the film.

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley – known for their comedies game night He wrote and directed the movie based on the popular tabletop role-playing game.

Eric Davis to Fandango: “I don’t play Dungeons and Dragons and don’t understand any cues, so I’m watching it from that perspective. I imagine fans would enjoy every little detail – I just loved watching a crazy, fantasy-filled fantasy movie.”
