Google I/O will start on May 10th and the annual event will see the Pixel 7a debut. Just a week before the official launch, a tipster shared alleged promotional images and specs for the Pixel 6a successor. The upcoming phone appears in Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton. Google Pixel 7a is said to be powered by Tensor G2 SoC. It could have a 6.1-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 7a is said to carry a dual rear camera module, led by a 64MP primary sensor.

Owned by tipster Roland Quandt to publish Alleged Pixel 7a promotional photos on Twitter. In the leaked renders, the smartphone is shown in three colors — Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton — with a design similar to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. However, there may be more color options for the Pixel 7a when the phone is officially launched.

The purported marketing materials refer to a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ display on the Pixel 7a with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by Google’s internal Tensor G2 chipset. The dual rear camera module is seen on the Pixel 7a with a 64MP primary wide sensor and a 12MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens. Further, there could be a 13MP selfie camera. It is said to support both fast wired charging and wireless charging.

Google’s Pixel 7a is said to offer various photo and video features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Night Sight. Magic Eraser helps the user to remove distractions from the photo while Photo Unblur can make blurry photos clearer. Night Sight helps to take high-quality photos in low light conditions. It will also have access to Google One VPN, according to leaked marketing images.

The Google I/O 2023 event will start on May 10th and the Pixel 7a will also be unveiled in India on May 11th. The company is also expected to introduce its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, during the event.

The Pixel 7a will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart. It is expected to be priced between $450 and $500 (roughly Rs. 32,000 to Rs. 40,000).
