HPCL manufactures and distributes Chevron lubricants in India
New Delhi: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has signed an agreement to manufacture, distribute and market lubricants from the global super-sized Chevron in India.
“Chevron Brands International LLC (Chevron), a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, has entered into a long term trademark licensing agreement with HPCL. This collaboration includes the licensing, manufacturing, distribution and marketing of Chevron’s lubricant products under the Caltex brand, including Chevron’s own Havoline and Delo branded lubricant product,” the company said in a statement.
The agreement provides for the production, distribution and sale of lubricants under the Caltex brand in India by HPCL. Consumers in India can look forward to the supply of high quality Caltex lubricants under this development.
Brant Fish, President of Chevron International Products, stated, “We are thrilled to partner with HPCL to bring premium Caltex lubricant technology and performance to India. HPCL is the market leader in India and together we intend to build on the strength of the Caltex brand and our premium product portfolio.”
