Infinix Hot 30i Spotted On Google Play Console, Unisoc T606 SoC Suggested: Report

Technology

Infinix Hot 30i is confirmed to be launched as the latest smartphone of the Infinix Hot series on March 27 in India. The upcoming smartphone, which will succeed last year’s Infinix Hot 20i, also impressed the Chinese smartphone brand with official preliminary images shared on social media. Now, ahead of its official launch, the upcoming entry-level Infinix Hot 30i has been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some of the key specs to expect.

According to a report by PriceBaba, an Infinix smartphone with model number Infinix X6999 has been spotted on Google Play Console. It is believed that the phone is the officially announced Infinix Hot 30i, which is the company’s successor to the Infinix Hot 20i from last year.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming entry-level smartphone on March 27 in India, which features a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 16GB of RAM. It is also confirmed that the smartphone will be available in three color options – Diamond White, Glacier Blue and Mirror Black with a glass-like finish. The official marketing images point to a dual-camera rear setup, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric verification.

The Google Play Console listing has reportedly revealed some additional specifications about the processor, RAM, and Android version number that can be expected on the Infinix Hot 30i. The listing suggested that the smartphone could be powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, under the hood which is an octa-core chip built on a 12nm process that includes two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores, along with Mali-G57 MP1. This is a huge improvement from the Infinix Hot 20i, which ships with the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC that has eight Cortex-A53 cores.

The Infinix Hot 30i Google Play Console listing mentions a 4GB RAM variant, which runs on Android 12. However, the company has already confirmed that the smartphone will pack up to 16GB of RAM. The Infinix Hot 20i that preceded it has been launched and has two versions – one running Android 12 and the other running Android 12 Go Edition. However, there is no indication if the Infinix Hot 30i will also arrive in multiple Android versions.

Other rumors about the upcoming entry-level smartphone include that it could have a 6.6-inch IPS display, a 50MP primary sensor, and a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone is also rumored to be launched as part of a range that also features vanilla Infinix Hot 30 and Infinix Hot 30 Play model.
