Jamie Foxx health update: The Oscar-winning actor is “recovering well” in a rehab facility

Last month, Jamie Foxx was hospitalized last month with “medical complications” while filming in Atlanta. Close friends of the Oscar-winning actor and his family were informed that his condition was serious enough. That is why many people from outside the city came to visit him in the hospital.

Foxx’s hospitalization allegedly came weeks after he collapsed on the set of the Back in Action movie, according to The Sun.

Jamie Foxx Health Update

Since Jamie Foxx was hospitalized due to “medical complications,” the actor’s health battle has been kept secret with speculations surrounding his health. Foxx was constantly receiving medical treatment but in a different city. Since at least May 15, Foxx has been receiving treatment in Chicago.

On May 12, 2023, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Fox put the speculations regarding his health to rest. She wrote: ‘Update from the family: Sad to see how the media is getting carried away. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recovering. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! Corinne also teased fans more about her “stunning action announcement.”

After Corinne shared a health update on her dad, TMZ also posted photos of his daughters, Anneliese and Corinne, as well as the ex’s mom – Christine Grannis. He also filmed Jamie Foxx’s friend Dave Brown visiting the actor although the Academy Award-winning actor himself has not been filmed since his medical emergency. They were spotted outside a physical medicine and rehabilitation facility in the Windy City. According to TMZ, Jamie Foxx was moved to this facility in late April and has been recovering well.
