jio rs. 2,999 Prepaid Recharge Plan Offering 2.5GB Daily 5G Data Usage: All the Details

Jio has updated its annual prepaid recharge plan with unlimited 5G data access. Telecom prepaid plan priced at Rs. 2,999 will provide users with access to high-speed 5G data for 365 days. According to information available on the telecom operator’s website, the annual prepaid plan will provide users with a total of 912.5GB (maximum 2.5GB of data per day) throughout the year. The plan also provides free access to JioTV, JioCloud, JioSecurity, and JioCinema, according to the operator.

The country’s largest telecom company has updated its website listing (via ET Telecom) for Rs. 2,999 prepaid recharge plan to include unlimited 5G data for users who opt for annual recharge. It continues to deliver 912.5GB of data which amounts to 2.5GB of daily data at 5G speeds.

It is worth noting that the Jio recharge plan is worth Rs. 2,999 offers unlimited data access to customers, even after they cross their daily data allowance of 2.5GB. However, just like users on 4G devices, the telecom operator will reduce browsing speeds for users on 5G devices to 64kbps, according to the recharge plan listing.

Jio users have subscribed for Rs. The 2,999 prepaid plan will also get you free subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Security, and Jio Cloud. The telecom provider also gives users the option to upgrade their prepaid plans at a value of Rs. 119, Rs. 149, Rs. 179, Rs. 199 and Rs. 209 with an overhang of Rs. 61 provides users with an additional 6 GB of data.

The operator has launched Jio True 5G network services in several cities across the country. Users in supported regions will receive an invitation to the Jio Welcome Show. Jio’s 5G network is currently available in 331 cities, after the company recently expanded its reach to an additional 27 cities.

The telecom company has announced that Jio 5G services will cover the entire country by the end of 2023. “We are well on our way to achieving the stated goal of increasing our Jio 5G footprint month by month to other cities, towns and talukas of different countries,” Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said in a webinar after The budget last month, states and UTs, aims to cover every city, every taluka, and every tehsil across the country by December 2023.
