Kim Kardashian Is the Face of Marc Jacobs’ Latest Campaign

Fashion

Kim Kardashian is following in her little sister Kendall Jenner’s footsteps as the new face of Marc Jacobs.

The brand first teased the collaboration with a short video featuring up-close outfit details before revealing its star on Instagram, on August 8; the brand posted a snap that was zoomed in on Kardashian’s instantly recognizable face. Then, on August 9, the brand unveiled the first full campaign shot.

In the photo, Kardashian gazes down at the camera while standing in front of a silver Mylar balloon backdrop, clutching a mini white tote bag in one black-and-white, polka-dot-gloved hand. The reality star and Skims founder wears a black jacket with full, puffed sleeves, a black pencil skirt and polka-dot tights. Kardashian wears minimal makeup in the photo, and her hair, too, is styled simply — parted in the middle and straight.

In a few other pics from the shoot, Kardashian relaxes on a pile of balloons while wearing a bustier top, pencil skirt, and white platform Kiki boots (get it? Kiki?); she also poses in a voluminous black, polka-dot coat. According to the Marc Jacobs Instagram, Kardashian’s fall 2023 campaign was photographed by Tyrone Lebon and styled by Alastair McKimm.
