Superman Legacy: Director James Gunn is putting the rumors to rest; drops a major update on the DC project
Famous Hollywood director James Gunn recently made headlines after leaving Marvel Studios and joining DC. The talented director has been roped into DC Studios’ ambitious Superman Legacy project, which is expected to hit the floors very soon. As of yet, there is no official update on the stellar cast or technical staff of Superman Legacy or any upcoming projects the studio is producing. However, many rumors about new DC Studios projects have been making the rounds on social media over the past few weeks.
James Gunn clears up the rumors
The famous director, who is clearly troubled by rumors about Superman Legacy and upcoming DC movies, took to his official Twitter account and cleaned the air with a powerful statement. I’ve had a barrage of DC bullshit rumors this morning. I’ll repeat the general rule of not believing anything unless it comes from me or Peter Safran. But, unless it’s particularly egregious, I’ll just slow down on calling the fuck out. (Sorry, I know, it’s One of my favorite traditions),” reads James Gunn’s tweet.
The director reveals that one of the rumors is half true!
Interestingly, James Gunn admitted that one of the rumors circulating on social media is “half true.” He also gave a very interesting update on the pre-production of Superman Legacy, which has a lot of excitement among fans of the movie.
“There are three reasons for that: 1) Some people make up lies to get my attention or to get clicks and I don’t want to encourage that. 2) I’ve been reading hundreds of rumors this morning. Something. 3) I’m doing a Superman Legacy story and don’t have time! Have a nice day!,” his tweet further reads. The director’s discovery piqued the curiosity of DC fans.
