Flower Moon Killers: Release Date
Killers of the Flower Moon debuted on May 21 at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The historical drama will have a limited release on October 6 and a wide release on October 20, 2023. Considering that the movie is produced by Apple Original Films, it will eventually be available for streaming. on Apple TV Plus.
The Killers of the Venusian Moon: An Introduction
The trailer depicts the gruesome murders of members of the Osage Nation by white intruders. At the center of the trailer is Leonardo DiCaprio’s “improbable romance” with Ernest Burkhardt and Molly Kyle Lily Gladstone. The trailer opens with a scene of members of the tribe dancing at the discovery of oil on the land of the Osage Nation. The trailer is narrated by Ernest as he reads the Osage book. He says, “So many hungry wolves,” the scene depicts a sea of whites passing Molly as she stares at her.
The trailer shows us quick scenes of murder, arson, and gunfights. The trailer ends with a group of white people in frame, who stare into the camera as Lenorado’s voice asks the question, “Can you find the wolves?”

What was the movie about?
The official synopsis for the film reads, In the 1920s, members of the Osage Native American tribe are murdered in Osage County, Oklahoma, after oil is found on their land, and the FBI decides to investigate. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese and is based on the fictional book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders written by American journalist David Gran.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone star as Ernest Burkhardt and Molly Kyle, respectively. The film features a star-studded cast with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Robert De Niro, who plays the antagonist, and William Hill. Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser is also part of the cast. Other cast members include Jesse Plemons, Kara Jade Myers, Tanto Cardinal, Jana Collins, Jillian Dion, William Bellew, Louis Cancelmi, Tatanka Means, Michael Abbott Jr., Pat Healy, Scott Shepherd, Jason Isbell, and Sturgill Simpson.
