Apart from Bhawna, Kohli’s wife and actor Anushka also cheered for him and was clapped in the stands and gave him flying kisses. The special moment was also captured on camera.

Kohli said during the presentation, after batting a ton in the match against GT: “We would have taken that with both hands when we were five wickets down. We pretty much pulled things back towards the end. Nearly 200 is a winnable score for me. It’s up to the bowlers to run. I felt great. Many people think my T20 cricket is declining but I don’t think so. I try to hit holes and then the big one towards the end. You gotta read situations and get up for the situations. I feel very good about my game right now. Spin wasn’t easy to get away from. There’s plenty on this pitch for our bowlers. The most important thing is to get into the present I was not focusing on the rain, but on what I have to do for the team.”

Thanks to the Kohli century, RCB managed to put 197 on the scoreboard in the crucial game, but Gujarat Titan’s Shubman Gill paid a bummer and also scored a century. This caused RCB to be expelled from IPL’s IPL playoffs.

Now on May 23, Gujarat Titans will play Chennai Super Kings while Lucknow Super Giants will play against Mumbai Indians on May 26.
