Tom Sizemore died at the age of 61 after being taken off life support. His manager, Charles Lago, confirmed the news of Sizemore’s death in a statement to Variety magazine on Friday. Lago said in the statement that Thomas Edward Sizemore died peacefully in his sleep at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. It was reported that Tom Sizemore collapsed at his home in Los Angeles and was immediately taken to the hospital. Doctors told Sizemore had suffered from a brain aneurysm due to a stroke. After that, the Saving Private Ryan actor remained in a critical condition and was in a coma under intensive care. On February 27, doctors informed the family that there was no hope for Tom Sizemore and recommended that he be removed from the support system.

Tom Sizemore’s brother, Paul Sizemore, said in a statement that he is deeply saddened and saddened by the loss of his older brother and will always miss him.
