Keanu Reeves for his dream role

While Keanu Reeves was promoting the new John Wick movie, the actor revealed to fans that he’s always wanted to play Wolverine.

While John Wick has been in talks with Marvel Studios for the past few years, the actor hasn’t had any official role in the Avenger or any other such movie under the MCU.

Marvel Studios also owns the rights to the X-Men franchise and is beginning to reveal their mutations in the MCU. Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine in X-men since the movie premiered in 2000. Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are ready to reprise their role in the upcoming movie Deadpool 3. Hugh Jackman has also been open about the permanent damage from playing Wolverine.

Some may think Reeves is too old to play the new version of Wolverine, but the most popular X-Men hero certainly has a much wider age range than the others.

According to some reports, Reeves also has a good relationship with Marvel Studios who also want to bring him into the mix at some point. While nothing has been confirmed by Marvel Studios or Reeves, there is a good possibility of them collaborating in the future.
