Willem Dafoe is open to reprising his role once again as one of the most iconic villains in the series Spider Man franchise.
during an interview with inverse Promotes his new movie insideposted online Wednesday, the actor said he will reprise his role as Norman Osborn / The Green Goblin in a third movie “if all goes well, sure.”
Dafoe performing at Sam Raimi’s 2002 Spider Man, starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, remains one of his most notable projects. He then returns as the infamous character in the 2021 Jon Watts movie Spider-Man: No way homeStarring Tom Holland and Zendaya.
“I mean, this is a great role,” he added. “I loved the fact that it’s a dual role both times. Twenty years ago, and more recently, both times [were] Very different experiences, but I had a great time in both.”
But Dafoe wasn’t the only character returning in the latest sequel, written by Chris McKenna, Eric Somers, and Stan Lee. The film brought together three generations of Spider Man Movies, including Ex-Bad Villains, Alfred Molina (2004 Spider-Man 2) and Jamie Foxx (2014 The Amazing Spider-Man 2), plus Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield dressed as Peter Parker again.
