WrestleMania 39: She’s Slept In The Last Three Years, Charlotte Flair Pays Tribute To Rhea Ripley Before SmackDown

Entertainment

At WWE WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair will compete against The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley to defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Previously at WrestleMania 36, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to win the title but this time later claimed that she would get revenge on her. Rhea was trapped by Charlotte in Figure 4 and merged into Figure Eight.

Here’s what Charlotte Flair has to say about her upcoming rivalry with Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 39.

Charlotte Flair on Rhea Ripley

While speaking with Miami Herald’s Jim Farsaloni, Charlotte Flair complimented Rhea Ripley and said she’s grown a lot since the past three years but said she’s grown really well. Flair says that when they both compete against each other, it’s like titans.

“We’re both very aggressive and not many women get a chance to face each other again at WrestleMania,” Charlotte adds.

Charlotte Flair also pointed out that for Rhea Ripley’s first WrestleMania match there was no audience due to the pandemic and this time she really wants to show the latter all sides of the WWE Universe.

There’s also a good possibility that Rhea Ripley will have ringside Doomsday to help her out this time around. So when asked about the possibility of Dominic Mysterio in this match, Charlotte Flair joked that her husband is very protective of her and he is a really good wrestler. AEW star Andrade Idolo is Charlotte Flair’s husband.

While speaking to Jim Varsallone, Flair also said that she wanted to let people see the softer side of her personality after spending most of her career wanting people to mock her for the job.
